I'michael using a wireless Mighty Mouse with a Mac Mini (the newest model) and are operating 10.6.3.The scroll wheel can scroll up simply good, but scrolling down, it actually just scrolls down a small fraction of a -pixel (if that's also feasible) per little finger flickr/scroll. I opened the Computer mouse -panel from Program Preferences and modified the Scroll environment, but no fortune.I've been using the mouse fór about a 30 days with no problems whatsoever- until today.Any concepts? Has anyone else experienced this?

On my Windows 7 system, and in all programs, when I scroll down with my mouse, it will scroll partway down then then scroll partway up. It is totally erratic and is driving me crazy. I do have a wireless keyboard/mouse, but I do not use the mouse, as it does not work: I have replaced it with a 'wired' mouse. Open Your Mouse Configuration. By default this setting is registered at “3”, but you can fine tune it to respond at any sensitivity between 1 (which means for every notch you scroll on the wheel, the page will go down one line in a 1:1 ratio), up to 100. If you want to dial in an exact number for your scroll wheel’s sensitivity however.
